This blog started out life as an idea for a book in the style of the excellent 33⅓ Series. I’m a big fan of the 33⅓ books which offer an in-depth insight into classic albums such as Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys, Harvest by Neil Young, Daydream Nation by Sonic Youth, Let it Be by The Replacements among many others. Naturally I thought Earth vs The Wildhearts should join the library of classics and considered how I’d approach it. Sadly, the proposal stage had closed by the time I got my arse in gear, so decided to go down the blog route instead, thus Life Has Teeth was born. As a collaborative project welcoming individual accounts and memories about Earth vs The Wildhearts, the blog format is ideally suited to tell the story and who knows one day it may even been compiled into book.

Enjoyed reading the blog! I was also born in 81 and got into the band at the same time as yourself, ’94, while living in London. First saw them live on the PHUQ tour, they did a secret gig at the Highbury Garage in London, which was obviously amazing. Seen them several times since then, but not recently.
